Job Purpose

• To carry out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft as per company and associated regulatory procedures.

Cabin Crew Duties and Responsibilities :

Duties and Responsibilities:

a) The primary responsibility of the Cabin Crew is to ensure passengers safety and security.

b) Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness and legality of self for the assigned flights. Attends “Briefing” to ensure acknowledgement of flight details, distribution of roles, targets, security checks, boarding, etc.

c) Welcomes passengers and assists in their boarding formalities.

d)Enters necessary data into the aircraft log book as per Sky vision airlines and ECAA  procedures.

e) Identifies areas of safety and security risks and partners with the Cabin purser to take remedial action in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.

f) Administers first aid to passengers where necessary.

g) Informs Cabin purser, Flight Crew and Captain, as appropriate, with any irregularities and malfunctions promptly. 

h) Carries out pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment and other specified equipment prior to take off; provides report for any deficiencies to Cabin purser and/or Captain as appropriate.

i)Form the link between the passengers and the flight crew.

j) Inform passengers on safety, security and emergency procedures during all phases of the flight

k) Each Cabin Crew is assigned for a position on board and requested to implement all safety, security and service-related duties.

l) Each Cabin Crew Shall Keep his position (on ground, In-flight) and shall not leave it unattended unless permitted by the purser.

m) In Augmented flights, each of the 6 operating Cabin Crew Shall stay in their positions the 3 Extra shall be in the rest area according to purser arrangement.

n) Gathering in galleys, loud voices and loud movement are not allowed.

o) Manage procedures following an emergency accordance with the Cabin Crew Manual and the Commander instructions.

p) Ensure cabin safety under the overall authority and responsibility of the Commander (i.e. the safety of passengers and security of cabin load and galleys);

q) To check that the necessary flight safety, security instructions and the emergency equipment are on board and are in consistent with all relevant safety as well as legal rules and regulations and properly fulfilled;

r) After boarding the aircraft, shall carry out a cabin security check, verify the emergency equipment, other equipment and the catering equipment and immediately report deficiencies to the Purser for further action.

s) Provide an optimum of comfort and services for the company’s customer’s namely the passengers, and by their courtesy, efficiency, thoughtfulness and ready assistance directly shape the company’s image.

t) Report to the Commander any incident that has endangered the safety of the operations.

u) To report any details in current practice considered unsafe, impractical to company standards and - if possible – make suggestion for improvement to the Cabin Crew Manager.

v) To update his personal copies of any manuals as required and ensure all management directives are obtained.

w) To renew all personal documents without interrupting the operation (e.g. passport, license and medical certificate)

r) Ensure the respect of the “Fasten Seat Belt “and “No smoking “signs.

x) Each Cabin Crew member shall be well prepared and fit for the flight.

y) The most senior Cabin Crew will take over and be fully in charge of operating in case of purser absence due to any reason.

 Personal Requirements: 

1-Age: Not less than 21 years old

2-Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 165 cm (Male)

3-Weight: To be in proportion to Age and Height

4-Clear skin with no marks, peircing  or tattoos that would be visible whilst wearing the cabin crew uniform

5-Medically/ Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
